Odisha Transport Department’s portal is a unique service in this direction. Records of all the vehicles have been made accessible through Internet  for the benefit of citizens and for improving the Management of Transport and Police Department.

Many times dealers of old vehicles fake the registration papers and sell off stolen vehicles to innocent citizens. Some dealers also fake year of make of the vehicle to fetch a better price.
